3D Work and Pre-Calculation

Depending on your workflow, you may need to calculate some sort fo pre-pass before we can render your job. This could be a dynamic simulation, IR Map, etc but these processes usually must be processed on a single computer. Let us free your workstation by rendering on our 4GHz workstation.


We prefer, to avoid this service because most times it is a subjective process of cost verses quality. There is no universal solution when calculating assets like IR Maps, etc because it greatly depends on various aspects of the animation. Further, these decisions should be made early in production so that you know what your animation should look like when in the final render. However, if you do need us to recalculate your pass, just send us your settings.

Our standard account service includes our already low prices with greater bulk discounts, free 24/7 live phone support, and most importantly priority rendering. Your jobs will always render before budget accounts. Most jobs are completed in 24 hours with many finished the same day if submitted before 9 AM.

When you budget is a greater concern than the return time, we now have a low cost option to consider. This workflow is only for those that do not need support and understand our workflow very well. This type of account has render low priority so jobsmay start and stop based on our Premium Account render queue. However, most jobs are completed in a few days. Support is handled by email only.


Both Users and/or Companies are not allowed to have both budget and premium accounts and changing categories is strictly forbidden.

Rushed Projects After Hours Work

To get our prices so low, we have set hours of operations that meet most of client's needs. Our 24/7 support fills the gap for additional issues (to help facilitate currently running jobs).


However, if you must launch a new project after hours (and you are not using remote administration) or you have an emergency rush job, we do have a few options.


  1. Advanced Planning: With 3 days advance notice, we can schedule someone to be available to administer your project. There is no set up fee, but there is a minimum charge of $1,000 USD (if your project is smaller, only the difference will be deducted).
  2. Emergency Rush: With less than 48 hours notice or if you need priority rendering, then the minimum charge is $2000 USD at $.50/GHz hour (if your project is smaller, only the difference will be deducted).

This does not include additional support time. You will need to have your files production ready and tested so we can QUICKLY administer your files. We will however, work in advance to make sure everything is compatible and working properly so we can submit with confidence.
Our system setup allows you to remotely monitor your progress, check your billing and view your finished files in real time. We maintain a transparent operation so you can find the information you need quickly as well as know that you can trust us with your files and budget.

Estimation Disclaimer: Please understand that any estimate is based on user input; however, billing is based on real world results. You are paying for metered rendering time not a guaranteed rendering of a particular project. Also, before launching any render job, there is a small administration time to check for common errors so please allow for extra time to avoid errors. We do our best to be as informative and accurate as possible about the known real world results of our render farm. We must reiterate that we do not know what is in your files, how you have your files setup, how a file is optimized, or any last minute changes you have made.
To get the 25% Price Match Guarantee (PMG), you must first get a detailed quote from us using our procedures. If you find a lower rate, we will beat it by 25%! Our competitor’s rates must be confirmable on their website. The PMG does not include one time specials, “New Client” deals or emailed quotes. The maximum discounted rate achievable is 6˘/Ghz Hr. We reserve the right to escalate your estimate to the next higher discount tier or to a Budget Account. All payments and jobs must still follow our workflow. Discounts are attained by the total amount purchased per day unless prior arrangements have been made. PMG is not retroactive. Further, we can only compare rates for the same level of service, same software, and for the same job. We only price match major commercial render farms (usually in the USA or Europe). We will not compare our superior service with unknown, shady, or illegal render farms. Thank You for your understanding.
How to receive an Estimate:

By comparing your computer's performance to our render farm, we can estimate the overall needed processing time and therefore the cost. Since this is based on user input, you are always responsible for real world results.

1)    What is your CINEBENCH Score? (A Performance Benchmark)

CINEBENCH is a cross platform 3D benchmarking program that only takes a few minutes to run. With your results, we are able to compare the benchmark of your computer to our render farm. Then we can translate your render time to the time needed on our systems to estimate the overall cost. If you do not want to use CINEBENCH, we can guess by using your processor MODEL number, but this is less accurate (10-15%) because of the plethora of CPU models.

2)    What is the average render time per frame?

Give us your best guess or the longest render time expected from the system listed above so we can at least calculate a worst case scenario. Please note, any setup time, preparing, etc is part of the render process and should be included for an accurate quote. It is also important to optimize your files for batch rendering. We can help with this information.

3)    How many frames are in your animation?

We need to know how many frames we need to calculate. To get a more accurate quote, it is best to quote each shot that is rendered separately unless all the frames have roughly the same render times then it is acceptable to bundle all the shots for huge discounts! It is also important to know how many scenes, cameras and/or passes to better estimate the turnaround. What is being rendered or how that is outputted is not considered in the price, just the time to create those results.

4)    What application and render engine are you using?

The way we setup your account depends on which application you are using. This does not affect billing.
