Using the TitanREMOTE

To use the TitanREMOTE, you must have an active RenderTITAN account. To create, reactivate, or just update an account, please visit www.RenderTITAN.com for login information.

NOTE: Budget Accounts cannot be upgraded to Standard accounts.

NOTE: Please keep the entire downloaded TitanREMOTE folder together to be able to enable advance features and proper operation of the application.

NOTE: On the TitanREMOTE you will see your personalized job queue where you can prioritize your submissions to RenderTITAN's master queue which is an automated hybrid system. The RenderTITAN's master queue will automatically manage all supported software, all supported account types, and even take into account rush needs or changes in your local queue. To prevent abuse by submitting dummy file to rearrange later, changes will resubmit the entire queue. You will not lose credits for the resubmission, but your placement on the queue may fall.

THE JOB QUEUE – ACTIVE PANE

  • Active

Here you will find all of the jobs that you have submitted to the RenderTITAN's master render queue. (You will not see other client's submitted jobs.) If you select a job in this pane you can change the order of your queue with the up and down buttons. You can also use the stop button to cancel any job in the active list

Depending on the changes in the Active job queue, your placement on RenderTITAN's master queue may also be affected. For fastest service, you should only make emergency changes.

THE JOB QUEUE – HISTORY PANE

  • History

This is a list of all of your finished and canceled jobs. You can remove jobs from the history list by selecting them and clicking the remove button.

  • Job Details

Selecting a job from either pane and clicking its corresponding “Job Details” button will bring up detailed information pertaining to your job. Please see the job Detail category for further Job Detail benefits

ADD JOB

  • Job Submission Properties

These options pertain mainly to the program you used to create your file and the location of your assets on the FTP

  • Render settings

The options in this section will change depending on which 3d application and render engine you are using.

    • Start Frame - The first frame of your render.
    • End Frame - The last frame of your render.
    • By Frame (a.k.a. frame step) - Using this will skip specific frames when rendering e.g. setting it to 2 will skip every other frame.
    • Bundle Frames - This causes the farm to send the frames to the render nodes in bundles. This means that each time a node loads a frame it will render the set number of frames instead of just one. Setting this option is only recommended if the scene load time to render time ratio is very high which is common for render times under 2 minutes.
    • Frame List - Setting this option will cause the system to ignore start, end and by frames and render only the listed frames instead.
    • Image Width - The desired width of the output.
    • Image Height - The desired height of the output.
    • Output Format - The file type of the output.
    • Frame Number - This option is for single frame renders and selects the desired frame to be rendered.
    • Number of Strips - This option is only for single frame renders and sets the number of strips that the frame will be divided into.
    • Save Multi-pass - This option should only be activated for Cinema4D files that have enabled Multi-pass output.

  • Send to queue

Click the appropriate "Send to Queue" button for your intended priority.

    • Click SUBMIT to send your job to our master queue with your account's default priority setting.
    • Click RUSH to send your job to our master queue with RUSH priority (which places your job above Standard Account default’s priority.)
